.

Oh, You know that feeling...

Okay...

So I'm reading a GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) tutorial, off of their website, and while I'm reading... I get this little helpful piece of information: "The invention called the typewriter introduced the Shift Key. You generally have 2 of them on your keyboard."

Thank you very much... GIMP...

Walk (day one?)

For the last couple of days, I've been killing my time like you wouldn't believe, by either taking long pointless naps, or long pointless walks. The other day, I'd chosen to take long pointless walk, through my lovely town of Stow, to, you know, "see the sights" (Or lack there of). But to my amazement, it was something I had not expected. I began by dragging myself out to the middle of this large field, somewhere I had never been before. I turned around, and for the first time in my life, I saw the Town of Stow from a completely different perspective, a completely different angle. It was as if I had never stepped foot in Stow before. (And not to sound all sentimental and pathetic, but..) For the first time in my life, I could actually see the sun set in Stow, and it was a sight to be seen, for sure... But then the bugs began to eat me alive, so I hurried home as quick as possible, in a fit of rage.

A little known fact:

The English word 'testify', derived from a time when men were required to swear on their testicles.

The 'Astromobile'

So I've thought of possibly the greatest idea ever thought.. ever. It involves a giant industrial sized hanging mobile, and about a half dozen Astrostars. Now if you're wondering what an Astrostar is, it's basically this nifty little lamp, that takes the shape of a black 12 sided dodecahedron, with tiny holes on all sides. And when turned on...

POOF!

..It projects stars all over the room. Pretty simple. Now, my grand idea is to basically make a hanging mobile, that perfectly spins and rotates, and attach multiple Astrostars at each end. Here's a cheap little sketch I threw together, to give you a "better" idea of the plan..

VoilĂ .
Lights turned off. Astrostars turned on. Give the mobile a little push, AND...

...The most AMAZING light show you will ever witness, right before your very own eyes!!!
Now it sounds easy, but the most difficult part about this project will be balancing the Astrostars perfectly with each other, for the mobile to have perfect inertia. So it will be a difficult balancing act. But hey, we can only know, if we give it a try!

One mans trash...

In my recent endeavors, I've been sifting through an old (OLD) bottle dump in the back of my house, which sits on a very (VERY) steep river bank. Cans, bottles, and miscellaneous objects dated back to about the 1930's can be seen scattered absolutely everywhere. Old shoes, bottles of just about every shape, size, and color, old license plates, random car parts, and PLENTY of rusty old cans..

 Broken pottery.

The river at the bottom of the embankment. Quite picturesque.. (almost TOO picturesque..)

Popeye brand popcorn. "ahg ahg ahg!"

And the list goes on..

With these, as well as whatever else I can find, I hope to think of something creative to do with them... and if not that... I'll be sellin' them for a pretty pretty penny. (Heh heh heh!) ...Any ideas?!

Hmmmm?

So, my 'older' blog had somehow magically disappeared... So at that, I decided to make a new one, EXACTLY the same.. So.. here she is!
           In other news?... Nothing...
